We are excited to announce that the World Aquaculture Tanzania 2026 Conference (WA26T), including Aquaculture Africa 2026 (AFRAQ2026), is set to take place from December 1-4, 2026, in Tanzania. We are pleased to report many progresses including that many sponsors and exhibitors have already signed up. The event was officially launched by the government of Tanzania in early July, and many participants have registered, session conveners have booked sessions. As one of the fastest aquaculture producers in Africa, Tanzania is eager to welcome both local and international delegates to this conference. Nearly 2000 participants are expected at WA26T.

Now is the time to mark your calendars and begin planning your logistics for attending the event.

  • Be sure to REGISTER EARLY to take advantage of reduced registration rates. Early bird registration closes on October 30, 2026.
  • Do not forget to SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT as submissions will close on October 15, 2026.
