Asian – Pacific Aquaculture 2018 Taipei, Taiwan – April 23-26
Following up the success of the APA17 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which was attended by more than 2800 people, the WAS and the APC chapter have agreed to organize the next APA conference (APA18) from the 23rd to the 26th of April in Taipei International Convention Centre (Taiwan) together with the help of National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) and local partners such as Taiwan DG Fish, Pingtung Uni., FBAT, Fish Res Institute, the Fish Agency of Taiwan.
The Steering committee chaired by Prof. Ching-Fong Chang (President of NTOU) and Dr. Guillaume Drillet (President of WAS-APC) has hold its first meeting during APA17 event. We are now 9 months ahead from the conference and therefore the activity of the steering committee is increasing every day to ensure a very successful event both for scientists and industry partners.
The program committee led by Prof. Ming-Wei Lu (NTOU) and A/Prof. Pham Quoc Hung (Nha Trang University) have a deadline for abstract submission on January 31st and the theme of the conference has been chosen to be "Innovation for aquaculture sustainability and food safety".

AQUA2018 Montpellier, France – August 25-29
AQUA2018 will celebrate the fact that Aquaculture is one of the most important food Production industries in the World. AQUA2018 will take place in the beautiful French City of Montpellier and will comprise a scientific Conference, trade show, industry sessions, workshops, student events and receptions. The AQUA events are co-organised by the European Aquaculture Society (EASS) and the World Aquaculture Society (WAS) and are held every 6 years in Europe. Past events were AQUA2000 (Nice, France), AQUA2006 (Florence, Italy), AQUA2012 (Prague, Czech Republic).

Latin American & Caribbean Aquaculture 2018 Bogota, Colombia – October 23-26 - a Platform for all Aquaculture Academics and Professionals.
LACQUA 2018 is the 2018 Annual meeting of the Latin American & Caribbean Chapter of WAS. Following upon the successful LACQUA2016 in Peru & LACQUA17 in Mazatlan, Mexico. LACQUA18 will bring international attention to the aquaculture industry of Colombia and Latin America & Caribbean countries.
Abstracts can be submitted in Spanish, Portuguese and English. Submit your abstract (convocatoria para presentacion de trabajos) soon as first incoming abstracts will have dominant slots in the program (deadline August 1st). This conference includes three languages, thus oral and poster presentation can be organized in Spanish, Portuguese and English. Draft program grid attached.
