Aquaculture Europe 2019 Berlin, Germany – October 7-10
After several highly successful EAS events in Edinburgh, Dubrovnik and last year in Montpellier, we are pleased to be organizing AE2019 in Berlin from October 7-10 this year. The event is entitled "GROWING from WATER.” The aquaculture sector nourishes and stimulates life in water in all its ways, and thereby holds the potential to overcome many of the challenges our society faces. The future of healthy and sustainably-produced food and commodities lies in the diversity of aquaculture, from single-cell microalgae in bioreactors to fish teeming in sea pens or freshwater ponds.
See the AE2019 PAGE on the EAS web site, with links to submit abstracts, register online, book your stand and reserve your hotel. The page will be updated periodically with info on the plenary sessions, workshops, tours and other useful information.
We invite you to submit your abstract online by the deadline of May 1. The proposed parallel sessions cover many areas of aquaculture research and species that are not just related to cold water or inland aquaculture. Please note that your abstract must comply with the guidelines to be considered further. Abstracts submitted after the deadline will have a reduced chance for an oral presentation.
The trade show is also an important part of our Aquaculture Europe events and we are organising industry forums and special sessions linked to the conference theme.
A SPECIAL this year is that NordicRAS will be held back to back with AE2019 that will itself have several RAS sessions. Those taking part in both events will have a discounted registration fee. See more.

Latin America & Caribbean Aquaculture 2019 San Jose, Costa Rica – November 19-22
LACQUA19 will be the 2019 Annual meeting of the Latin American & Caribbean Chapter of WAS. Following upon the previous successful LACQUA meetings, LACQUA19 will bring international attention to the aquaculture industry of Costa Rica and Central America. LACQUA19 will be held in San José, the capital of Costa Rica. Costa Rica makes a great venue for LACQUA19. Aquaculture in Costa Rica is characterized by tilapia crops and other species such as shrimp and marine species.
LACQUA19 será la reunión anual en el 2019 del Capítulo Latinoamericano y del Caribe de la WAS. Después del éxito de los anteriores congresos LACQUA, estamos seguros que LACQUA19 atraerá la atención internacional de la industria de la acuicultura en Costa Rica y Centro América.
LACQUA19 se llevará a cabo en la ciudad de San José, capital de Costa Rica. Costa Rica es una excelente sede para el LACQUA19. La acuicultura en Costa Rica se caracteriza por cultivos de tilapia y otras especies como camarones y especies marinas.
