Latest Press article – First LACQUA event in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 2020.
Latin American and Caribbean Aquaculture 2020 - LACQUA20 will be held at the Hilton Colon Hotel in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. It is the first time in history of the LACQUA events that the event will be held in Ecuador.
LACQUA20 will take place from September 7 to 10 and this time our partner is Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral – ESPOL that is organising the XXI Ecuadorian Aquaculture Congress (CEA2020) jointly with LACQUA2020.
This event will be one of the largest in the region with more than 130 commercial stands, a high quality academic and technical agenda and field trips of great value. We hope to have the presence of renowned academics, national and international producers, service providers and a large catalog of companies showing their most advanced products for the aquaculture industry. We will have more than 6 simultaneous rooms with sessions on topics such as new technologies, innovations, environment, cultivation of species such as shrimp, tilapia, mollusks, algae, salmonids.
There will be an extended Industry Forum for all aquaculture professionals.

Aquaculture Africa 2020, Alexandria, Egypt – November 28 – December 1
The African Chapter of World Aquaculture Society will hold its first International Conference and Exhibition “Aquaculture Africa 2020” in the beautiful City of Alexandria, the Pride of the Mediterranean Sea, during November 28 – December 1, 2020. The conference will be hosted in Bibliotheca Alexandrina “Alexandria Library, Egypt”; one of the most fascinating touristic and cultural attractions in the world. The conference offers a great opportunity for aquaculture researchers, practitioners, decision makers and other stake holders to network and discuss all aspects of aquaculture in Africa. Exhibitors from all over the globe are expected to exhibit their products in the amazing exhibition Center. Visits to the most famous touristic attractions in Egypt will be arranged. Special visits will also be arranged for fish farms and feed mills. Be sure to schedule time for this unique scientific, business and social event. You all are encouraged to participate.
