We want to make sure that AE2021 is as safe as we can make it for you.

So please read carefully the information below and help us to achieve that objective. Please see http://www.visitmadeira.pt/en-gb/useful-info/corona-virus-(covid-19)/information-to-visitors-(covid-19) for detailed information on COVID status and requirements for entry/arrival. Check regularly for updates.

For those who are vaccinated, you need to complete registration/account creation at https://madeirasafe.com/#/login where you will receive a QR code to present at Funchal when you arrive. Subsequent test results can also be uploaded to the app. At present, those who land at airports in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, can enter via the “green corridor” provided they present the vaccination certificate or proof of recovery from COVID-19, or a negative PCR test. One PCR test is available free of charge at the airport for all travellers. We strongly advise you to use this for your departure/return home (and not upon arrival)
