AQUA2018 will celebrate the fact that Aquaculture is one of the most important food Production industries in the World. AQUA2018 will take place in the beautiful French City of Montpellier and will comprise a scientific Conference, trade show, industry sessions, workshops, student events and social functions. The AQUA events are co-organised by the European Aquaculture Society (EASS) and the World Aquaculture Society (WAS) and are held every 6 years in Europe. Past events were AQUA2000 (Nice, France), AQUA2006 (Florence, Italy), AQUA2012 (Prague, Czech Republic).

Latin American & Caribbean Aquaculture 2018 Bogota, Colombia October 23-26 - a Platform for all Aquaculture Academics and Professionals.
LACQUA 2018 is the 2018 Annual meeting of the Latin American & Caribbean Chapter of WAS. Following upon the successful LACQUA2016 in Peru & LACQUA17 in Mazatlan, Mexico. LACQUA18 will bring international attention to the aquaculture industry of Colombia and Latin America & Caribbean countries. Updates on plenary speakers attached.
Nos complace anunciar la realización del evento Latin American & Caribbean Aquaculture 2018 - LACQUA18, que será desarrollado junto con el VIII Congreso Colombiano de Acuicultura – VIII CCA en el Centro de Convenciones Ágora, Bogotá, del 23 al 26 de octubre de 2018. Estos eventos son organizados por la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, la Federación Colombiana de Acuicultores FEDEACUA y por el Latin American & Caribbean Chapter de la World Aquaculture Society LACC/WAS.
Serán recibidos trabajos sobre diversas temáticas, entre las cuales están la especies acuáticas más cultivadas en Colombia y en países del área de LACC, con enfoque especial en tilapia, trucha, peces nativos suramericanos y camarones. Las presentaciones orales, posters y resúmenes podrán ser realizadas en español, portugués
o inglés. El envío de resúmes podrá ser hecho hasta el 1 de agosto 2018.
Abstracts can be submitted in Spanish, Portuguese and English. Submit your abstract soon as first incoming abstracts will have dominant slots in the program (deadline August 1st). This conference includes three languages, thus oral and poster presentation can be organized in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
